The Prose & Polish started with a simple idea: a manicure should feel like curling up with a good book — a small, deliberate pleasure, not a rushed errand.

I've always loved that quiet ritual — the just-so shade, the fresh set, the feeling of starting a new chapter with your hands. Salon visits are lovely, but they don't always fit real life. So I set out to bring that same quality — real gel, proper wear, colours worth choosing — home, without the appointment.

Every design in the library is picked (or turned away) by hand. If it wouldn't last a couple of weeks, or wouldn't make me reach for it myself, it doesn't make the shelf.
