Refund & Exchange Policy

The Revision Process

We want you to be completely in love with your new look. However, we understand that sometimes a "chapter" doesn't fit as well as you hoped. Here is how we handle returns and exchanges.

1. Returns Period

Our policy lasts for 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility & Hygiene

Because our semi-cured gel wraps are an intimate beauty product, strict hygiene rules apply.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must be in the original, sealed packaging.
  • Exemptions: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on used or opened nail wrap packets. Gift cards are also non-refundable.

3. The Return Process

To complete your return, please email us first at info@theproseandpolish.com. We require a receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Shipping Your Return: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Recommendation: If you are returning items over R500, we strongly suggest using a trackable courier service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our studio, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.
  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items are final and cannot be refunded.

5. Exchanges (Defective Items)

We carefully inspect every "volume" before it leaves our hands. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged (e.g., a misprint or manufacturing fault).

If you need to exchange a defective item for the same one, send us an email at linda-vanessa@theproseandpolish.com and we will arrange the details with you.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank account again and contact your bank (there is often some processing time before a refund is posted). If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us immediately.
