The Application Guide

Whether you have chosen our signature Semi-Cured Gel or our instant Fully-Cured wraps, achieving a flawless finish is a simple ritual. Choose your method below.

Chapter One: Semi-Cured Gel Nail Strips (UV lamp required)

Our semi-cured strips are 60% cured when they reach you — soft and flexible enough to mould perfectly to your nail, then hardened under a UV/LED lamp (such as our Reading Lamp) into a true gel manicure that lasts up to two weeks.

Before you begin

  • Wash your hands and push back your cuticles gently.
  • Buff the surface of each nail lightly and wipe away dust and oils with an alcohol wipe or a little nail polish remover — oil is the enemy of adhesion.
  • Choose the strip that best matches each nail. When in doubt, choose the smaller size; a strip touching your skin or cuticle will lift early.

Application

  1. Peel off the clear film, then lift the strip from its backing.
  2. Place the strip just short of your cuticle line and smooth it outwards from the centre, pressing firmly so there are no air bubbles or creases.
  3. Fold the excess over the tip of your nail, then file it away with a downward motion — or trim with small scissors before filing smooth.
  4. Cure each nail under the UV/LED lamp for 60–120 seconds, until the surface is hard and glossy. Cure your thumbs separately so they lie flat under the light.
  5. For extra wear time, seal with a gel top coat such as The Epilogue and cure once more.

Removal

Do not peel or force. Soak a cotton pad in acetone, hold it on the nail for a few minutes (a foil wrap helps), and slide the softened strip off gently with a wooden stick. Follow with cuticle oil — your nails have earned it.

Chapter Two: Fully-Cured Nail Wraps (no lamp needed)

Our fully-cured wraps are exactly what the name promises: hardened, finished and ready to wear. No lamp, no drying time — just peel, press and go.

Application

  1. Start with clean, dry, oil-free nails — wipe each nail with an alcohol pad and let it dry.
  2. Select the wrap closest to your nail size, peel it off the sheet and place it just short of the cuticle.
  3. Smooth from the centre outwards, pressing the edges down firmly.
  4. Fold the excess over the nail tip and file it away, or trim and file smooth.
  5. For the longest wear, finish with a layer of top coat and avoid water for the first hour.

Removal

Lift a corner gently with a wooden stick and peel slowly from one side to the other, keeping the wrap low and parallel to the nail. If you feel resistance, warm the nail briefly (warm water or a hairdryer on low) and try again — never rip.

A few notes from the margins

  • Longevity: avoid soaking your hands for the first few hours after application. Wear gloves for washing up and gardening.
  • Bubbles or lifting edges? Press them down and reseal with top coat; small bubbles at application can usually be smoothed out towards the edge.
  • Storage: keep unused strips sealed in their packet, away from sunlight and heat — semi-cured strips will slowly harden if left in daylight.
